Seeking knowledge in forbidden ancient books has a price. It leads you to the dark side’s door, and once you cross it, can you ever come back?
Adham is a horror writer facing writer’s block. He believes that to break it he must meet the writers’ demon, and to meet him he needs more knowledge. He searches every forbidden book for it, not knowing it is a one-way trip.
The Book was made in Unreal Engine 4 in real time with ray tracing, mostly with assets modelled by our team plus some Quixel Megascans and marketplace assets. The animation was captured with our Xsens motion capture suit, and Katana and Arnold were used for a few character close-ups.
