Privacy policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This policy explains what information Dumiah Studio receives when you visit dumiah.com or contact us through it, and what we do with it. The short version: we only collect what you send us, we use it to reply to you, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
It also covers Dumiah Publisher, the internal app we use to publish to our own YouTube, Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Information you send us
When you use the contact form, or write to us by email or WhatsApp, we receive what you give us: your name, email address, the topic and your message, and anything else you choose to include.
How we use it
- To read your message and reply to you.
- To discuss and carry out the project or request you contacted us about.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
We do not sell your information, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
Where it is kept
Messages from the contact form are sent by email to our studio inbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace. We keep them as long as we need them to work with you, and delete them when you ask us to.
Server logs and spam protection
Like every website, our hosting provider (Bluehost) records basic technical information about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. This is used to run and protect the website.
To stop spam, the contact form keeps a scrambled form of your IP address for up to one hour, so the same address cannot send too many messages.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. When you send the contact form, our hosting provider may set a small technical cookie to tell people apart from automated bots.
Videos, fonts and other services
- Videos are played from YouTube, using its privacy-enhanced mode. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; after that, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
- The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to download them.
- Links to our pages on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, ArtStation and X take you to those services, which have their own policies.
Dumiah Publisher, our YouTube and Meta app
Dumiah Publisher is an internal tool built and run by Dumiah Studio. We use it to schedule and publish our own videos and posts to the YouTube channels, Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts that the studio owns or manages. It is not offered to the public, and only members of the Dumiah team sign in to it.
What Dumiah Publisher accesses
- From YouTube, through YouTube API Services: the channel name, ID and picture, permission to upload videos and set their titles, descriptions, thumbnails and playlists, and the videos’ basic statistics such as views.
- From Meta (Facebook and Instagram): the names, IDs and pictures of the Pages and Instagram accounts we connect, access tokens for them, permission to publish posts, videos and reels on them, and their basic insights.
How Dumiah Publisher uses this data
Only to publish and schedule the content our team prepares, and to show whether each post went out and how it performs. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not use it to build profiles of people, and we do not use it to train AI models.
The app uses a sign-in cookie to keep our team logged in. It does not place advertising or tracking cookies.
Storage, sharing and security
Access tokens and post details are stored on servers controlled by Dumiah Studio, and only our team can reach them. We do not share data received from Google or Meta with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Dumiah Publisher’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube API Services
Dumiah Publisher uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel to it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s Privacy Policy explains how Google handles your information.
Removing access and deleting data
- Google and YouTube: open the Google security settings page below and remove Dumiah Publisher from the apps with access to your account.
- Facebook and Instagram: open Facebook’s Business Integrations settings below and remove Dumiah Publisher.
- To have us delete everything Dumiah Publisher stored about your account, email contact@dumiah.com with the subject “Data deletion”. We delete the access tokens and stored data within 30 days and confirm by email.
When an account is removed from Dumiah Publisher, we delete its access tokens.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, including data stored by Dumiah Publisher, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to contact@dumiah.com and we will reply within one month.
Children
Our website is not meant for children to send us personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If the website changes in a way that affects your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
